Ice Breaker: A Viking Voyage is a puzzle physics game to be released for iOS devices. The game is being developed by Nitrome Ltd. The objetive of the game is to cut ice and objects to get the frozen and unfrozen vikings to their longboat.
History[]
Nitrome is a game company that usually makes free Flash games, but they decided to start developing their first iOS game.
Before that, they made three Flash games called Ice Breaker, Ice Breaker: The Red Clan and Ice Breaker: The Gathering. These games became very popular and are considered three of Nitrome's top popular games.
In March 2010, Nitrome revealed that they were working on their first iOS game, Super Feed Me, but for 2 years after its revealing, nothing was heard of the game. July 12, 2012, Nitrome announced that Super Feed Me was on hold and they revealed that a new iOS game was in development at 80%. That game is Ice Breaker: A Viking Voyage, and Nitrome created a website to periodically add info about the game.
As Nitrome recently said, Ice Breaker: A Viking Voyage is at 85% and almost finished, but they do not want to reveal a release date until the game is totally finished.
